"True friends stab you in the front."

************

While you are waiting for a job interview and jobs to materialize, live life! Take care of your health, and your relationships. Perseverance, of course, is key to job hunting in both turbulent and calm times. While you must get up each day and have a plan for the job hunt, perseverance is easier if you keep a positive attitude and maintain a balance in your life. Give yourself permission to have some fun and enjoyment. Go through the motions of living life, even if you don't feel like it

Other Crew & Friends

I said earlier that this web site was not just all about Jeff Beck.  It is also about a whole group of people, like myself, who have chosen Contract Pilot work as their chosen career.

Interestingly enough, the people who choose to be self employed, Independent IC Pilots, are usually the Pilots with the most amount of experience.  The pilots who have spent 20 or 30 years at jobs, and now have made the personal decision to be independent and self employed.

So the operators are really getting the benefit of years and years of experience to augment their flight operations.

Here, then, are some of my friends and acquaintances.  I know all these people and will stand up for them.  Please feel free to put these pilots and Flight Attendants on your list.

Pilots

Please note:  I know every single one of these people, and I vouch for them.  They are my friends.  I have either flown with them, or had other interaction with them, so I know they are the inveterate professionals that an operator would want.  Give them a call, you won't regret it.

Here is probably the number one best Flight Engineer I have ever flown with.  Not a dull moment with this guy and he takes care of business better than anyone, ever, anywhere.  I should get Bill his own tab here, which I will probably do in the very near future.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you are a mile away from them, and you have their shoes.

When you choose your friends, don't be short-changed by choosing personality over character.

True friends stab you in the front.

You should not confuse your career with your life.
